  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate, melted

  • 1/2 cup salted caramel chips, melted

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 cup cacao powder, high quality

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9X9 pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl with whisk attachment, pour in melted butter and sugar. Whisk until smooth.
  • Add eggs and vanilla, mix for additional minute.
  • Next add the melted chocolate and caramel chips, combine until smooth.
  • Then, using a rubber spatula, add the flour and cacao powder. Stir until just combined, then mix in 1/2 cup of the remaining whole chocolate chips.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan, using spatula to smooth top. Cake in oven for approx 30 minutes, until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle the last 1/2 cup of chocolate chips over the hot brownies. After 10 minutes, use a knife to spread or swirl the chips out on top. Sprinkle sea salt over brownies. Slice into squares and serve warm. Enjoy!
