5-Ingredient Chocolate Almond Bark

I love this stuff. It’s so easy to make and the kosher salt makes it seriously addictive! This is the best snack, anytime. I am currently hiding a batch in the back of my fridge so my kids don’t find it. I intend to munch on it later while I watch Netflix after they’ve gone to bed. 🙂

5-Ingredient Chocolate Almond Bark

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almonds, chopped
  • 200g dark chocolate (I used 2 Laura Secord 70% Cocoa bars)
  • 2 Tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • kosher salt, for sprinkling

Directions

  1. In a saucepan over low-medium heat, add coconut oil, chocolate and vanilla extract. Stir until completely melted (Careful not to burn!)
  2. Add almonds and stir to combine. Remove from heat.
  3. Line an 8×8 baking sheet with parchment paper and use rubber spatula to scrape all the chocolate mixture out of the saucepan onto the baking sheet. Use spatula to flatten and distribute chocolate evenly over pan.
  4. Sprinkle kosher salt over chocolate and place baking sheet into frisge to chill for about an hour or until set.
  5. Remove from fridge, lift parchment paper from tray and use hands to crack chocolate into pieces. You may store chocolate bark in a tin or airtight container in the fridge, or freeze it for later! Enjoy! 🙂
