Walnut Cookie Dough Fudge
Difficulty: Easy16
servingsIngredients
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
2 Tablespoons heavy cream
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup mini chocolate chips
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup softened butter
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup heavy cream
4-5 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (I used white chocolate)
1/4 cup walnut pieces
Directions
- Line an 8X8 pan with parchment or tinfoil and set aside
- In a stand mixer with paddle attachment, combine butter and sugars and mix on medium speed until pale and fluffy. Add vanilla, salt, cream, and mix until combined. Add flour slowly just until combined but do not over-mix. Fold in chocolate chips. Set aside while you prepare the fudge.
- In a medium saucepan over med-low heat, combine the brown sugar, butter, salt and cream and heat until sugar is dissolved. Whisk to ensure everything is smooth and melted, then add vanilla. Slowly add the powdered sugar, until mixture becomes thick. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
- Add cookie dough mixture to the fudge and stir to combine all well. Evenly spread fudge into the prepared pan and sprinkle with chocolate chips and walnuts. Chill in refrigerator at least 3 hours before slicing into squares. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- Store in air-tight container in fridge for up to a week. You may also freeze fudge.
