Easy Vanilla Butter Cake

There are many butter cake recipes out there- this one is about as easy as it gets. It’s a fluffy vanilla cake with that rich buttery flavor and softness that dreams are made of. So good. So easy. I hope you enjoy. 🙂

Easy Vanilla Butter Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour

  • 3 large eggs

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees, lightly butter or spray a 6-cup bundt pan or loaf pan
  • In a medium sized bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Whisk together well.
  • In a separate, large mixing bowl , combine the butter and sugar. Beat well until light and fluffy,
  • Add eggs, one at a time, to the butter mixture. Then add the flour mixture, cup by cup, and finally add the vanilla. Mix until well incorporated and smooth batter. (If batter seems dry, add a little milk)
  • Pour into prepared dish and bake for approx 40 minutes, checking regularly as oven temperatures vary. Cake is done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Let cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing. Slice warm, and serve. Enjoy!
